As an Associate Professor at the University of Oslo, I am always eager to welcome new students who share an interest in a range of topics in human-computer interaction, such as the human-centred design of technologies for health and well-being, technology for democracy, methods development in HCI, and human augmentation.
I am committed to supporting students with diverse backgrounds and interests, whether they are more technology-focused, drawn to the complexities of human behaviour and interaction, or passionate about conceptual thinking and theory development to deepen our understanding of human-computer interaction.
In addition to supervising theses, I am happy to explore other ways for students to get involved in research, such as short-term projects or internships. These opportunities can provide valuable experience in contributing to innovative work and expanding your academic or professional journey.
If you are interested in writing a thesis or getting involved in research under my supervision, please feel free to get in touch. I am always happy to discuss potential research topics, explore opportunities for collaboration, and provide guidance on academic and professional development.
Together, we can create innovative, human-centred solutions that address real-world challenges and make a meaningful impact.
